Terms of Use
Terms for using the OuroDocs portal.
These terms describe, at a high level, how the OuroDocs portal is intended to be used by clients and freelancers. They are written in clear language to guide behavior and expectations. You should still treat them as a summary and ensure a final legal review for your jurisdiction and use case.
1. Overview and agreement
By accessing or using the OuroDocs portal, you are agreeing, on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent, to follow these terms and any additional policies referenced here. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the portal.
"OuroDocs" in this document refers to the service and underlying platform. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the operator of the OuroDocs service. References to "you" or "your" refer to the person or entity using the portal.
2. Accounts and access
Access to the portal is granted to specific users and organizations. You are responsible for:
- • Keeping login credentials secure and not sharing them broadly.
- • Ensuring that only authorized team members use your workspace.
- • Notifying us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access if we detect suspicious activity, abuse, or behavior that risks service stability or security for other users.
3. Client workspaces and content
Clients remain responsible for the documents and data they submit to OuroDocs. In practice, this means:
- • You confirm that you have the right to upload and process the information you submit.
- • You agree not to use the platform for illegal content or activity.
- • You understand that structured outputs are derived from your inputs and may depend on the quality and clarity of those inputs.
OuroDocs does not claim ownership of your original documents. Where necessary to operate the service, we may store, process, and generate derivative structured data from them in secure, access-controlled environments, as described in our Privacy overview.
4. Freelancers and commission program
Freelancers and referral partners participate in a separate program designed to reward qualified referrals and support outreach. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement:
- • Freelancers are independent entities, not employees or agents of OuroDocs.
- • Commissions are calculated according to the program rules in effect at the time of the relevant subscription or invoice.
- • Payouts are made via third-party payment providers (such as Stripe) and may require you to complete onboarding and verification.
We reserve the right to review activity for fraud, abuse, or violation of outreach guidelines, and to adjust or withhold payouts where reasonable and consistent with applicable law.
5. Plans, billing, and usage
Client plans, pricing, and usage limits are typically managed through a billing provider such as Stripe. By subscribing to a plan, you agree that:
- • You are responsible for charges associated with your plan.
- • Usage beyond included limits may incur additional charges as described in the plan details.
- • Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of service.
If you have questions about your invoices or usage, you can start from Client settings or contact support@ourodocs.com.
6. Acceptable use
To keep the portal safe and stable for everyone, you agree not to:
- • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems without authorization.
- • Interfere with or disrupt the service for other users (for example, via automated misuse or abusive load).
- • Use the platform to store or distribute unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
- • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the portal.
We may monitor high-level operational metrics and logs to protect the service, investigate issues, and maintain security.
7. Service changes, availability, and disclaimers
OuroDocs is designed to be a stable, production-grade service, but no online system is free from interruptions or changes. In practice:
- • We may update or evolve features over time, including the portal experience and APIs.
- • We aim for high availability, but occasional downtime may occur for maintenance or due to factors outside our control.
To the extent allowed by law, OuroDocs is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Any limitations of liability or indemnity obligations should be reviewed and finalized with your legal counsel as part of your full agreement.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the portal (in whole or in part) if:
- • You materially breach these terms or related agreements.
- • We are required to do so by law or a binding request from a competent authority.
- • Continuing service would pose a security or operational risk to other users.
Where reasonable, we will seek to provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, in applicable law, or in our operating practices. When changes are material, we will aim to highlight them through the portal or via email to relevant account contacts.
Continued use of the portal after an update goes into effect generally indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Questions and legal review
This page is designed to be readable and practical, but it is not a substitute for a fully negotiated and jurisdiction-specific agreement. If you are entering into a larger commercial relationship with OuroDocs, you should ensure these terms are aligned with your signed contract or order form.
If you have questions about these terms or need to coordinate a formal agreement, please contact support@ourodocs.com and include whether you are a client or freelancer, plus your workspace or organization name.
